The 13th piece of “Kusatsu Music Archive” is W.B.Molique’s “Concertino for Oboe and Orchestra” in G Minor. Thomas Indermühle plays the oboe with Kusatsu Festival Orchestra under the direction of Jörg Ewald Dähler.
Many great musicians who are also excellent professors has participated in Kusatsu Music Festival, and Thomas Indermühle is also a big presence for the music festival. He has been teaching in Kusatsu Music Festival every year since the 12th festival in 1991 until the 40th in 2019, and has developed the talents of many of his students and sent them out into the music world. He often performs works that are rarely heard, and his performance at the 24th festival was the masterpiece by Molique, the Romantic composer.
