【Kusatsu Music Archive】Bruno Canino, Werner Hink, Luca Ranieri & Tamás Varga 2007

The 14th piece of “Kusatsu Music Archive” is the 3rd movement from Czerny’s piano quartet in F Major, Op.224 No.1. Bruno Canino plays the piano, Werner Hink plays the violin, Luca Ranieri plays the viola and Tamás Varga plays the cello.
Kusatsu Music Festival has presented a number of works rarely performed in concert by world-renowned musicians, and this piece which performed at the 28th festival in 2007 is just such a piece. The brilliant piano and the exquisite ensemble that only Czerny could produce were performed by Bruno Canino and Werner Hink, who have been visiting Kusatsu Music Festival for over 25 years, with Italian great violist Luca Ranieri and Tamás Varga, the principal cellist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The score was borrowed from the Wiener Musikverein and was published during Czerny’s lifetime.
