【Kusatsu Music Archive】Werner Hink – L.v.Beethoven “Romance No. 2” 1998

The 11th piece of “Kusatsu Music Archive” is the Beethoven’s masterpiece “Romance” No. 2. Werner Hink plays the violin with Kusatsu Festival Orchestra under the direcction of Jörg Ewald Dähler. Werner Hink who is the former concertmaster of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the leader of the chamber orchestra and soloist, is one of the professors who has supported the Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy & Festival.
He first appeared in the 15th Kusatsu Music Festival and has visited Kusatsu for 23 years since the 17th festival. His duo with Keiko Toyama at the festival also gained a lot of attention, and here we introduce the performance with the orchestra in 1998 at the 19th Kusatsu Music Festival. Please enjoy the soft and beautiful sound of the great violinist from Vienna.
