We are pleased to announce the Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy & Festival will be held with academy and festival inviting world-class soloists.

The 46th Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy & Festival
Period: Monday, August 17th, 2026 – （2weeks）
Theme of This Year:　Bach is Cool

We will welcome people from across Japan and internationally to participate and enjoy masterclass and concerts.

【Academy】
Masterclass and Choir class will be held.　Class：Vocal, Piano, Violin, Cello, Oboe, and Organ/Cembalo/Basso Continuo
There will be chorus and long-term auditing  as well.

【Festival】
Johanna Malangre has been selected as the conductor for the opening concert on Monday, August 17, 2026, the first day of the festival.
