With the new coronavirus still raging this summer, unfortunately we will not be able to hold our music festival. When the festival closed, we had no idea that there would be no music festival the following year.

This summer, we thought about how we could share our music with everyone who are looking forward to our music festival.

For the past 40 years, many musicians have given us wonderful performances and lessons at our music festival.

We think these sounds are deeply engraved in everyone’s memory, together with the refreshing breeze that passes through the practice room, the swarms of dragonflies that comfortably fly through Mt. Tengu, the sunlight that leaks through the gaps in the fallen pine trees, rowan which is beginning to turn red, the steam from the hot springs with the smell of sulfur, and the twilight sky after the concert.
We would like to present these 40 years of musical activity in a variety of forms.
Eine Pause 2020 – may the year of rest 2020 be a special year in the history of the festival.
