Chorus Conductor
Born in Hokkaido, he studied piano under Nakayama Hisako and conducting under Takahashi Masamitsu and Morigaki Keiichi. In 2007, he won second prize at the 4th Mariele Ventre International Choir Conducting Competition held in Bologna, Italy. He is currently the music director of Coro Oración(Tokyo), conductor of the female choir Mokuseikai (Sendai), permanent conductor of the Kinu-no-Michi Choir (Hachioji), permanent conductor of Ensemble Mei (Kiryu), conductor of the Tokai Citizens Choir (Aichi), conductor of the Keio University Mixed Choir Gakuyukai, and in the Ritsuyukai, he serves as the in-house conductor of Coro Kallos and Tokyo male choir KuuKai, and as the assistant conductor of Matsumoto Female Ensemble AZ. He is also involved in choral conducting of orchestral works such as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony in various places. He is the deputy music director of the Ritsuyukai. He is also a director of the general incorporated association Ongakuju. Lecturer at Musashino Academia Musicae.
