Toyama Foundation Scholarship Program
Based on the will of Mr. Kazuyuki Toyama, who was the chairperson of the organizing committee at the inauguration of the festival and served as a music director from the 11 to 30 concerts, we have established a scholarship system to support students in the master class.
Eligibility
【Applicable class: Vocal/ Piano/ Violin/ Oboe】
(1) Those who attend Kusatsu academy masterclass for its entire duration
(2) Applicants who meet the following age requirements as of August 17, 2026:
・Vocal: From age 18 up to 30
・Instrumental: From age 13 up to 25
Details of the Scholarship
The recipient of the scholarship will be exempt from having to pay their tuition for full-term masterclass lessons and receive 200,000 yen. *No-repayment scholarship
Selection Method
Nomination committee will screen application documents and the video.

Teno Foundation Encourage Program
This fund was established in 2023 (the 43rd) with a donation from Ms. Mie Teno, Councilor of the Gunma Kusatsu Music Society Foundation.
The foundation has the encourage program for masterclass students whose performance are highly acclaimed at the Student Concert held on the last day of the festival.
