{"id":3925,"date":"2024-06-10T15:00:29","date_gmt":"2024-06-10T06:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kusa2.jp\/en\/?p=3925"},"modified":"2024-06-10T15:00:31","modified_gmt":"2024-06-10T06:00:31","slug":"20240610","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kusa2.jp\/en\/44\/20240610\/","title":{"rendered":"Message from Faculty 2024 \u2013 Prof. Angelika Kirchschlager"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the second time in two years, we received a video message from mezzo-soprano Prof. Angelika Kirchschlager!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since her operatic debut as Cherubino in Mozart&#8217;s \u201cLe Nozze di Figaro\u201d at the Vienna State Opera, she has built an international career performing the title role in operas and recitals at major opera houses around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is internationally recognized as one of the foremost interpreters of Richard Strauss and Mozart. As a celebrated recitalist and concert performer her repertoire ranges from Bach, Berlioz, Brahms, Debussy, Dvo\u0159\u00e1k, Korngold, Mahler, Mendelssohn and Ravel to Rossini, Schubert, Schumann, Weill and Wolf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, she devotes herself to recital activities and teaching young singers.
