It is performed by Masahito Tanaka&#8217;s bassoon solo, conducted by Helmut Winschermann and Academy Chamber Orchestra.<br>Helmut Winschermann was a German conductor and oboist who was also known as the founder of the Deutsche Bachsolisten and trained many young musicians. He played an important role as a mentor and performer in the 1st and 3rd Kusatsu International Summer Music Academy &amp; Festival on the theme of Bach.<br>\u201cAus der Tiefen\u201d was performed as an encore for &#8220;Bach concert&#8221; the last day of the 1st Kusatsu Festival. This work was discovered in 1966 in Japan in its own handwriting.
