In 2007, he won second prize at the 4th Mariele Ventre International Choir Conducting Competition held in Bologna, Italy. He is currently the music director of Coro Oraci\u00f3n(Tokyo), conductor of the female choir Mokuseikai (Sendai), permanent conductor of the Kinu-no-Michi Choir (Hachioji), permanent conductor of Ensemble Mei (Kiryu), conductor of the Ensemble Mulberry(Kokubunji), conductor of the Tokai Citizens Choir (Aichi), and in the Ritsuyukai, he serves as the in-house conductor of Coro Kallos and Tokyo male choir KuuKai, and as the assistant conductor of Matsumoto Female Ensemble AZ. He is also involved in choral conducting of orchestral works such as Beethoven\u2019s Ninth Symphony in various places. He is the deputy music director of the Ritsuyukai. He is also a director of the general incorporated association Ongakuju.
